PERA is placing a Deputy Manager in each district team to keep watch over its own enforcement staff. The work is discreet and field-based: verifying complaints, making spot checks and building the evidence that senior officers need before disciplinary action. The posts are spread across all of Punjab's divisions, from Rawalpindi to Dera Ghazi Khan.

Duties

• Check the conduct and public dealing of field staff in the assigned district.
• Collect and verify information on bribery, coercion, harassment and misuse of position.
• Make discreet field visits and surprise checks, and verify complaints.
• Write field intelligence reports and preliminary inquiry notes.
• Recommend preventive or disciplinary measures to the Manager or Head.
• Protect the identity of complainants, sources and witnesses.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree or HSSC (intermediate) in any discipline.
• 5 years' experience in the armed forces, police or another law enforcement agency; intelligence experience preferred.
• Age 23 to 60.

One Deputy Manager is posted in each of PERA's 38 District Enforcement and Regulatory Board (DERB) secretariats in the DC offices.

PERA was set up under the Punjab Enforcement and Regulation Act, 2024. These posts are filled under the PERA (Appointment and Conditions of Service for Contractual Employees) Regulations, 2026, on the Special PERA Pay Package (SPPP), which is negotiable, for an initial three years that can be extended on satisfactory performance.

• Only shortlisted candidates are called for the test or interview, and no TA/DA is paid.
• Successful candidates get a provisional offer letter, subject to verification of degrees, experience certificates, NOC and antecedents.
• Canvassing or submitting false documents leads to disqualification at any stage.
• Experience in a private firm counts only if the firm is registered with the SECP, the Registrar of Firms or another public-sector regulator.
