Company Secretary

Responsibilities

• Advise the board of directors on the company's legal and financial risks.
• Make sure the company complies with all statutory regulations.
• Run the board's secretarial work: meeting schedules, minutes and internal and external coordination.
• Take on other tasks assigned by the CEO or the board.

Who can apply

• A member of a recognised body of professional accountants, or
• a member of a recognised body of corporate or chartered secretaries, or
• an MBA, M.Com or law graduate from an HEC-recognised university with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Maximum age 40.

About PGCL

Punjab Grid Company Limited is wholly owned by the Government of the Punjab and works under the Energy Department to provide electricity transmission services within Punjab. All four posts are on a lump-sum salary.

• Appointments follow the PGCL General Conditions of Service and Appointment. The CEO must meet the "fit and proper" criteria of the Public Sector Companies (Appointment of Chief Executive) Guidelines, 2015.
