Chief Financial Officer

The job

• Supervise the finance and accounts department.
• Prepare the annual budget and financial statements.
• Prepare business and investment plans, financial plans and procedures.
• Manage revenue collection and cash flow.

Who can apply

The criteria follow the rules for chief financial officers of public sector companies:

• a member of a recognised body of professional accountants with at least 5 years of relevant experience (for companies with total assets of Rs 5 billion or more), or
• a master's in finance from an HEC-recognised university with at least 10 years of relevant experience (for other public sector companies).
• Finance or tariff experience in the power sector is preferred.
• Maximum age 50.

About PGCL

Punjab Grid Company Limited is wholly owned by the Government of the Punjab and works under the Energy Department to provide electricity transmission services within Punjab. All four posts are on a lump-sum salary.
