Chief Audit Officer

The Chief Audit Officer gives PEIMA's board an independent view of how its money is spent and whether the rules are followed.

Experience the authority wants

• Risk-based internal audits and evaluation of internal controls.
• Checking compliance with financial and administrative rules.
• Investigating financial irregularities and writing audit reports.
• Working with external auditors, including the AG office.
• A plus: donor-funded project reporting, disbursement procedures, withdrawal applications, Special Drawing Accounts and government accounting.

Eligibility

• ACCA, ICMA or CA, or at least 16 years of education in finance, accounting or commerce from an HEC-recognised university.
• At least 5 years of verifiable post-qualification experience in internal audit, risk management and compliance.
• Age 30 to 45.

About PEIMA

PEIMA is an autonomous body set up under the School Education Department, Government of the Punjab, to provide quality education to children across the province. These are contract posts on a monthly lump-sum package.

Application fee

Each post needs a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 3,000. Generate the challan at peima.pesrp.edu.pk/user/generate_challan, pay it, and upload proof of payment with your application on the Punjab Job Portal. Applications without valid proof of the deposit are rejected.

General instructions

• Apply online through the Punjab Job Portal on or before 26 October 2026. Applications by courier, email or hand are not entertained.
• Late or incomplete applications, or ones without the required documents, are not considered.
• Applicants already in government, semi-government or autonomous service must apply through proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
• Shortlisted candidates take a written test and/or interview; no TA/DA is paid.
• Degree equivalence follows HEC notifications. False or misleading documents lead to disqualification and legal proceedings.

• The portal asks for a domicile certificate for these posts. Punjab residents can request one at home through the government's Dastak service (call 1202 or use the Dastak app).
