One Head of Data & Intelligence post at the AI Delivery Unit, AI Wing, S&GAD Punjab in Lahore: 16 years of education and 10 years' experience. Age 30 to 45.

Leads the unit's data function: the data platforms, pipelines and analytics teams that AI projects for government departments depend on.

Eligibility

16 years of education (master's degree) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Statistics or a related field from an HEC-recognised university or institution.
At least 10 years in data engineering, analytics or data-platform roles, including 4 years or more leading data or intelligence teams, with demonstrated delivery of production data platforms at scale.
Age 30 to 45.

Candidates with foreign qualifications and a proven track record are preferred.

Skills asked for

Data platform architecture (lakehouse or warehouse: Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery or open-source equivalents)
Pipelines and orchestration (Spark, Airflow or Dagster, dbt, Kafka)
Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP), infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practice
Data governance, cataloguing, lineage, security and privacy engineering
SQL and Python mastery; BI tooling (Power BI, Superset, Metabase)

The AIDU was set up under the Artificial Intelligence Wing of the Services & General Administration Department to deliver AI projects for Punjab government departments. Senior and technical posts are graded on project pay scales (PPS-9 to PPS-12) and the unit advertises a competitive pay package; no salary figures are published.
