Accounts Officer

A civilian post that keeps the Tourism Force's accounts: budgets, payments and records. The physical standards for uniformed ranks do not apply.

Who can apply

• 16 years of education in accounts and finance or a related discipline, with a second division or 2.5 CGPA, from an HEC-recognised university.
• 2 years' experience after the degree.
• Age 25 to 30.

About the force

The Punjab Tourism Force is a uniformed unit of the Department of Tourist Services, under the Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department. All posts are on a lump-sum package with a 10% annual increase, on contract for three years, extendable but not regularised. Postings can be anywhere in Punjab, and candidates need a Punjab domicile.

Medical certificate

Candidates for Inspector, Sub-Inspector and Constable must get a medical certificate recording all physical measurements, issued on or before the closing date and signed and stamped by the Medical Superintendent of a District Headquarters Hospital or Mian Munshi Hospital, Lahore. Enter the same measurements in the online form.

• General age relaxation applies under Notification No. SORI(S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 08.08.2016.
• Recruitment follows the Contract Appointment Policy 2004 and the Recruitment Policy 2022 of the Government of the Punjab.
• Shortlisted candidates take a proficiency test and interview; proficiency in English and computer skills are preferred.
• Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification counts.
• Applicants already in government, semi-government or autonomous service must apply through proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
• No TA/DA is paid. Incomplete or late applications are not entertained, and fake documents lead to disqualification at any stage.
