Accounts & Finance Associate

The associate keeps the project's books: budgets, plans and financial reports, held to the standards foreign-funded projects and their auditors expect, alongside government accounting rules.

Eligibility

• Master's in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration (Banking & Finance).
• At least 5 years of budgeting, planning and reporting, preferably on foreign-funded projects, with experience of international audit requirements.
• Knowledge of government administrative and accounting procedures.
• Good MS Word, Excel and accounting software skills, secretarial and organisational ability, and good spoken and written English.
• Age 35 to 45.

General conditions

• Posts 1 to 4 (associate, data processing and receptionist) are applied for online only, with academic and experience certificates uploaded.
• Drivers apply by sending a hard copy of the application and documents to the Section Officer (General), P&D Board, Lahore.
• Candidates must be domiciled in Punjab. Age is counted on the last date. The age limits of posts 1 to 4 already include relaxation; general relaxation applies to drivers.
• Government employees must apply through proper channel.
• Only shortlisted candidates are called for test or interview, with original documents; no TA/DA is paid.
• Appointments are on contract and give no right to regular appointment, seniority or pension.
