ICAP scholarships for CA students

From January 2026 the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan put all its scholarships into one scheme, the ICAP Student Excellence and Support Fund. It has three parts: a merit scholarship for top HSSC students, tuition support for deserving students at their tuition provider, and interest-free loans for students already on the CA path.

About this scholarship

Chartered Accountancy is one of the surest careers in Pakistan, and one of the costliest to start. From January 2026 ICAP put all its scholarships and support into one fund, the Student Excellence and Support Fund, so that a student can find the right kind of help for the stage they are at.

A school leaver with top HSSC marks goes for the High Achievers Scholarship, which waives ICAP's fees and tuition up to CAF and pays a stipend. A bright student from a family earning under Rs 100,000 a month gets Students Financial Support through their tuition provider. A student already on the CA path who is short of money can borrow up to 70% of ICAP's dues, interest-free, from Ihsan Trust.

ICAP scholarships: your questions

What is the last date for the ICAP High Achievers Scholarship 2026?

Monday 16 November 2026. Applications opened on 10 August; the aptitude test is in mid to late December and results come in January 2027.

What marks do I need for the ICAP scholarship?

In HSSC: 90% in the science groups, 85% in non-science and 80% in commerce. For under-represented groups the bars are 80%, 75% and 70%.

Is there a test?

Yes. The High Achievers Scholarship needs a computer-based ICAP Aptitude Test. ICAP offers a sample test to practise.

Can I apply for Students Financial Support myself?

No. Your RAET (tuition provider) recommends you to ICAP through the SFS portal, after approving a tuition discount of at least 75%.

How much does the ICAP interest-free loan cover?

Up to 70% of your ICAP dues, once per subject, after Ihsan Trust assesses your need. You repay in monthly instalments starting the month after you receive it.

Can I hold two ICAP schemes together?

No. The Students Financial Support and the interest-free loan are only for students not availing any other ICAP scholarship or assistance.
