Deputy Director Inspections (Regional)

The same work as the head office post, based in PHC's Faisalabad and Multan regional offices and reporting to the regional Deputy Director (Operations).

Responsibilities

• Inspect healthcare establishments against the approved weekly inspection plans, independently when required.
• Write and file inspection reports on time, in the prescribed format, and upload them to the inspection system.
• Keep the record of action taken against establishments (services suspended, sealed or qualified) up to date.
• Lead the inspection team and apply the directorate's quality management system.

Eligibility

• MBBS or BDS with a postgraduate degree in a clinical subject, Public Health or Health Management (PMDC/HEC recognised).
• At least 10 years of relevant experience with sound exposure to public or private healthcare delivery.
• Strong analysis, communication and computer skills; frequent travel across Punjab.
• Age up to 62.

About PHC

The Punjab Healthcare Commission licenses and inspects hospitals and clinics across Punjab. Most of these posts are for MBBS or BDS doctors who would inspect healthcare establishments rather than treat patients.
