Information Officer

Information officers handle the Government of Sindh's press releases, media coverage and public information for its departments.

Eligibility

• Master's in Mass Communication or Journalism from an HEC-recognised university.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Age 18 to 30.

SPSC's Consolidated Advertisement No. 05/2026, dated 25 September 2026, invites online applications for posts in the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department (Anti-Corruption Establishment), Home, Information, Planning & Development, and Law, Parliamentary Affairs & Criminal Prosecution departments. Seats are split between rural and urban Sindh quotas.

Important instructions

• Generate a PSID and pay the Rs 500 challan through any online channel (1Bill invoice option). One challan covers all categories of one post.
• Equivalent degrees are accepted only where the qualification says so.
• Domicile, PRC (Form-D), rural or urban quota, age, qualification, experience and exam centre cannot be changed after the closing date.
• You must hold the qualification and experience, with certificates, on the closing date. Experience counts from the minimum qualification.
• Government and semi-government employees apply through proper channel. Manual applications are not accepted.
• General age relaxation applies under the Sindh notification of 6 March 2025.
• Candidates with permanent disabilities who need help in the exam must apply to the Controller of Examinations at least 7 days before it.
