Contracts Engineer

The contracts engineer manages the paper side of construction: variations, claims, payments and compliance with the contract, so that disputes are settled before they hold up the depots.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's or master's in Engineering (16 years) from an HEC-recognised institute.
• 10 years of relevant experience in contract administration on infrastructure projects, with knowledge of FIDIC, public sector procurement and contract law.
• Registration with PEC.

Contract for 12 months. The salary is gross, inclusive of all benefits and applicable taxes.

About the project

PTC is a company wholly owned by the Government of the Punjab. The project management unit in Bahawalpur monitors construction progress on the city's new urban bus depots, supports decisions, keeps project documents in order and resolves technical and contractual issues.
