Deputy Manager Compliance at K-Electric, Karachi's private power utility: revenue assurance and compliance checks on the distribution business and its smart metering, for engineers, accountants or MBAs with 3 to 4 years' experience.
Checks K-Electric's distribution business for revenue leakage and rule breaches. The role runs the monthly, quarterly and annual reviews in the company's compliance framework, with a focus on its smart meter network (advanced metering infrastructure): billing errors, unbilled revenue, policy deviations and control weaknesses, confirmed with sample field visits and reported to management.
It also designs system controls in SAP to close the gaps it finds, follows each issue to resolution with the departments concerned, and answers queries raised by internal audit.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or Electronics, a professional accountancy qualification, or an MBA.
- At least 3 to 4 years of relevant experience. Audit, compliance or assurance work is preferred, and experience with smart meters, head-end systems (HES) or meter data management (MDMS) is a plus but not required.
