HEC Gwadar undergraduate scholarship

Gwadar is at the heart of the country's plans for its coast, and HEC's scholarship for its students is a quiet part of those plans: it takes outstanding young people from District Gwadar to public universities in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh for a four-year BS in any discipline.

The package covers the real costs of moving far from home: fees, hostel and other charges up to Rs 120,000 a year, a stipend of Rs 6,000 a month, Rs 10,000 a year for books and travel, and Rs 10,000 once to settle in. Anything above the project's limits is the student's to pay.

You need a Gwadar domicile, 12 years of education finished before the closing date, and to be no older than 22 on that date. Students up to a year into a BS can apply. Shortlisting uses an aptitude test by HEC's Education Testing Council together with your SSC and HSSC marks, and paper applications are not accepted.
